For 46 years I have been the history teacher at Acacia High School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Mr. Fernandez: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me history in 2003 at Acacia High School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly!
