Mr. Fernandez
20 years teaching agriculture in Riverside
- 🇺🇸 Riverside, California, United States
- Harmony Girls' School
- Since 1990
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 36 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 2,160 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Fernandez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
Subjects taught
What gifts mean to Mr. Fernandez: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me agriculture in 2018 at Harmony Girls' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
