Mr. Fernández
Drama and home economics teacher, Erie
- 🇺🇸 Erie, Pennsylvania, United States
- Hillcrest Technical College
- Since 1999
- English, Spanish
I teach drama at Hillcrest Technical College in Erie since 1999. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I never turn anyone away.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Fernández
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Fernández: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
