Mr. Farouk
Taught physical education at Alexandria Academy
- 🇪🇬 Alexandria, Alexandria, Egypt
- Alexandria Academy
- 2000 to 2013
- English, Arabic
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 13 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Farouk
If you were in my first-year students class, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

What gifts mean to Mr. Farouk: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
