I taught history at Holy Cross Public School in Los Angeles from 1988 to 1999. Most days I taught Year 9, and I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 540 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
