Mr. Escobar

26 years teaching special education in Sacramento

🇺🇸 Sacramento, California, United States
Sacramento Secondary School
1985 to 2003
English, Spanish

I taught special education at Sacramento Secondary School in Sacramento from 1985 to 2003. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I learned every name in the first week. Over the years I had 990 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Mr. Escobar

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
