For 41 years I have been the history teacher at Gaziantep Technical College. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I never turn anyone away.
More about Mr. Erdem
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Erdem: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
