Mr. Ekwueme
26 years teaching early years in Ibadan
- 🇳🇬 Ibadan, Oyo, Nigeria
- Summit Grammar School
- Since 1990
- English, Yoruba
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 36 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the gardening club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily.
I'm still learning every day.

If you were in my Year 9 class, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ekwueme: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
