Mr. Duran

Teacher at Oakland Academy, loves social studies

🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
1995 to 2024
English

For 29 years I was the social studies teacher at Oakland Academy. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Mr. Duran

If you were in my Grade 8 class, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

You taught me social studies in 2010 at Oakland Academy. I still remember that terrible school play. Thank you again.
