Mr. Duran
Physical education and computer science teacher, Gold Coast
- 🇦🇺 Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia
- 1992 to 2005
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 13 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Duran
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Duran: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
