Mr. Dumitru
Taught English literature at Crown Academy
- 🇷🇴 București, București, Romania
- Crown Academy
- 1991 to 2002
- English, Romanian
For eleven years I was the English literature teacher at Crown Academy. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Dumitru
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Dumitru: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
