Mr. Duarte
25 years teaching early years in Chattanooga
- 🇺🇸 Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States
- Chattanooga Grammar School
- 1983 to 2013
- English, Spanish
For 30 years I was the early years teacher at Chattanooga Grammar School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.

What gifts mean to Mr. Duarte: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
