I taught home economics and religious studies at St. Joseph's High School, Ciudad de México. I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 2,170 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Duarte
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Duarte: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
