Mr. Duarte
Spanish and religious studies teacher, Juiz de Fora
- 🇧🇷 Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brazil
- 1978 to 2002
- Portuguese, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 24 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, my door was open at lunch.
More about Mr. Duarte
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Duarte: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me Spanish in 1979 at Juiz de Fora Academy. I still remember the surprise birthday cake.

I was in your Grade 11 class in 2016. You believed I could do it before I did Greetings from Adama.
