Mr. Du Plessis
Teacher at Pietermaritzburg Secondary School, loves special education
- 🇿🇦 Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
- 2004 to 2013
- English, Afrikaans
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 190 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

If you were in my Year 7 class, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

What gifts mean to Mr. Du Plessis: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

I was in your Year 7 class in 2011. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Jessore.

You taught me special education in 2024 at Pietermaritzburg Secondary School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
