Mr. Du Plessis
Agriculture and environmental science teacher, Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Public School
- Since 2008
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I never turn anyone away.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Du Plessis
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Du Plessis: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
