Mr. Dijkstra

Retired economics teacher from St. Mary's Middle School

  • 🇳🇱 Haarlem, North Holland, Netherlands
  • 1991 to 2011
  • Dutch
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 20 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.

More about Mr. Dijkstra

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
