Mr. Dietrich
Retired home economics teacher from Ashford Public School
- 🇩🇪 Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany
- Ashford Public School
- 1986 to 2018
- German
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 32 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Dietrich
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me home economics in 2009 at Ashford Public School. I still remember that terrible school play.
