I teach physics at Medellín Grammar School in Medellín since 1983. Most days I teach primary school children, and my door is open at lunch.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Díaz
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mr. Díaz: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
