Mr. Desta
19 years teaching special education in Mekelle
- 🇪🇹 Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia
- Westbrook Academy
- 1995 to 2015
- English, Amharic
I taught special education and English literature at Westbrook Academy, Mekelle. I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 760 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Mr. Desta
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Desta: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
