Mr. Desai
English literature and physical education teacher, Pune
- 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
- Baobab Academy
- 2006 to 2015
- English, Marathi
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Desai: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
