I taught history at Columbus Grammar School in Columbus from 1990 to 2025. Most days I taught Year 7, and I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 1,400 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

I'm a social worker now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Brooklyn.
