I taught early years at The Hague Public School in The Hague from 2014 to 2024. Most days I taught first-year students, and I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 320 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
