For 14 years I have been the English literature teacher at Bellevue High School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Dean
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me English literature in 2025 at Bellevue High School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Truly.
