Mr. De Jong
Agriculture and economics teacher, Breda
- 🇳🇱 Breda, North Brabant, Netherlands
- Redwood High School
- Since 1987
- Dutch
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 39 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,050 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Mr. De Jong
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. De Jong: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
