Mr. De Groot
Design and technology and computer science teacher, Amsterdam
- 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
- Amsterdam High School
- 2011 to 2024
- Dutch
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 13 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
Subjects taught
What gifts mean to Mr. De Groot: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
