Mr. De Groot

28 years teaching economics in Amsterdam

  • 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
  • Unity Academy
  • 1985 to 2023
  • English, Dutch
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 38 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

What gifts mean to Mr. De Groot: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
