I teach chemistry at Silverlake Middle School in Amsterdam since 1979. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Mr. De Bruin
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
