Mr. De Boer

Teacher at Beacon Middle School, loves home economics

  • 🇳🇱 Nijmegen, Gelderland, Netherlands
  • Beacon Middle School
  • Since 2004
  • Dutch
For 22 years I have been the home economics teacher at Beacon Middle School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

More about Mr. De Boer

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. De Boer: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me home economics in 2018 at Beacon Middle School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped
