Mr. De Boer
30 years teaching special education in Nijmegen
- 🇳🇱 Nijmegen, Gelderland, Netherlands
- Nijmegen Primary School
- Since 1978
- Dutch
I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 48 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. De Boer
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. De Boer: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
