I taught social studies at Kingsway Girls' School in Soweto from 1997 to 2011. Most days I taught Year 10, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I ran the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily.
More about Mr. Davids
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
