I taught environmental science at Johannesburg Technical College in Johannesburg from 2009 to 2024. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I never turned anyone away.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
