I teach social studies at Stonebridge Grammar School in Chennai since 2001. Most days I teach primary school children, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 550 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Das
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Das: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
