Mr. Das
Retired special education teacher from Bamboo Middle School
- 🇧🇩 Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Bamboo Middle School
- 2000 to 2020
- English
Bamboo Middle School was my second home. I taught special education there from 2000 to 2020, mostly primary school children.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Das
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Das: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
