Mr. Darwish
Taught art at Luxor Academy
- 🇪🇬 Luxor, Luxor, Egypt
- Luxor Academy
- 1993 to 2008
- English, Arabic, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 15 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Mr. Darwish
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mr. Darwish: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
