Mr. Darko
Computer science and religious studies teacher, Accra
- 🇬🇭 Accra, Greater Accra, Ghana
- Westbrook Technical College
- Since 1998
- English, Twi
For 28 years I have been the computer science teacher at Westbrook Technical College. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,680 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Darko
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Darko: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me computer science in 1998 at Westbrook Technical College. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly

I'm a small business owner now and I honestly think it started in your classroom! Truly.
