Mr. Cruz
33 years teaching English literature in Riverside
- 🇺🇸 Riverside, California, United States
- Highland Academy
- Since 1982
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 44 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 2,460 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Cruz
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me English literature in 2024 at Highland Academy. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly Greetings from Ciudad de México.
