Mr. Cortez
Environmental science and history teacher, Columbus
- 🇺🇸 Columbus, Georgia, United States
- St. Joseph's Academy
- 2003 to 2022
- English
I taught environmental science at St. Joseph's Academy in Columbus from 2003 to 2022. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 400 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember that terrible school play.

You taught me environmental science in 2012 at St. Joseph's Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard!
