Mr. Cortés

23 years teaching drama in Ciudad de México

🇲🇽 Ciudad de México, Ciudad de México, Mexico
Starlight Boys' School
2002 to 2015
English, Spanish

I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 13 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Mr. Cortés

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Cortés: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
