I teach early years at Auckland High School in Auckland since 1989. Most days I teach Grade 11, and I never turn anyone away.
Over the years I've had 1,810 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
