Mr. Contreras
Mathematics teacher at Northside Middle School, 1993 to 2018
- 🇺🇸 Riverside, California, United States
- 1993 to 2018
- English
I taught mathematics at Northside Middle School in Riverside from 1993 to 2018. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Contreras
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
