Mr. Contreras
18 years teaching chemistry in Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Our Lady of Peace Grammar School
- Since 1989
- English, Spanish
For 37 years I have been the chemistry teacher at Our Lady of Peace Grammar School. I teach Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Contreras
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Contreras: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
