Mr. Coker
Chemistry and French teacher, Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Good Shepherd Boys' School
- 1997 to 2008
- English
For eleven years I was the chemistry teacher at Good Shepherd Boys' School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Coker
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mr. Coker: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
