Mr. Chukwu
Geography teacher at Oakwood Academy, 1984 to 2021
- 🇳🇬 Nnewi, Anambra, Nigeria
- Oakwood Academy
- 1984 to 2021
- English, Yoruba
I taught geography at Oakwood Academy in Nnewi from 1984 to 2021. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Mr. Chukwu
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mr. Chukwu: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me geography in 2025 at Oakwood Academy. I still remember the long bus ride home!
