For 43 years I have been the art teacher at Holy Cross Technical College. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm still learning every day.
