For 28 years I was the special education teacher at Maple Ridge Grammar School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

What gifts mean to Mr. Chavez: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me special education in 2007 at Maple Ridge Grammar School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
