For 22 years I was the physics teacher at Windsor Middle School. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the robotics club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Chávez
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Chávez: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
