For 19 years I was the Spanish teacher at San Francisco Boys' School. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
What gifts mean to Mr. Chavez: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
