Mr. Chávez
Accounting teacher at Bakersfield Academy, Since 1978
- 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States
- Bakersfield Academy
- Since 1978
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 48 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.

What gifts mean to Mr. Chávez: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
