Mr. Chavez
17 years teaching agriculture in Derry
- 🇬🇧 Derry, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
- Derry Public School
- 2003 to 2023
- English
For 20 years I was the agriculture teacher at Derry Public School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 940 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Mr. Chavez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Chavez: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
